I can’t stress this enough. 

Don’t just download the torrents/subs. Watch the official streams. 

First of all, you might actually be able to rip off the official streams. I haven’t tried it, but all NicoNicoDouga videos can be ripped as long as they are available. 

The stream is high-quality if your internet is good. Rips are nice, but they don’t always have great quality. 

And they want to see you watching the streams. Like, holy shit, they went out of their way to get someone (maybe even pay them) to subtitle the anime as it’s released. Why the heck would you not want to support that? 

And knowing the anime industry, they’re testing us. They’re testing the waters of the market, like, are they actually going to watch the streams? Should we keep doing this? And the big one - What’s the potential foreign market? 

A lot of us like localization. We like it when they make the DVD available to us, because then we can support the companies, which has been a big issue for a while. So if you don’t support the streams, you’re letting a good part of the fanbase down, and a good part of the anime industry itself down.

Seriously. Just watch it.
